GBC and UAE Embassy Discuss Support for Georgian Businesses

The Georgian Business Council in the UAE held an online meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the UAE in Georgia on 17 September, 2026 to discuss business cooperation, the experience of Georgian companies operating in the UAE, and opportunities for further institutional support.
GBC presented its current activities and its focus on supporting Georgian companies expanding into the UAE, as well as facilitating connections for UAE businesses interested in Georgia.
The discussion also covered the practical experience of Georgian companies in the UAE, including business challenges, interaction with local authorities and areas where additional support may be required. The Embassy expressed its readiness to provide further targeted support to Georgian businesses in the UAE and facilitate relevant connections based on identified needs.
As a next step, GBC will collect feedback from member companies, including both small and large businesses, to identify key priorities, successful cases and remaining challenges.
