First Day of B2B Matchmaking Meetings Held at Gulfood Expo
26 Jan, 2026The first day of the B2B matchmaking meetings organized during Gulfood Expo at Expo City Dubai took place today, bringing together Georgian exporting companies and UAE-based importers for structured business discussions. The event was honored by the presence of H.E. Giorgi Jangjgava, Ambassador of Georgia to the United Arab Emirates, who attended as a special guest and delivered opening remarks. The opening session also included speeches by: Giorgi Gudabandze, Associate Partner, SavvY Consulting Boris (Buba) Lezhava, Founder & Vice Chairman, Georgian Business Council in the UAE The speakers highlighted the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation between Georgia and the UAE, as well as the role of focused B2B formats in building practical business connections during major international exhibitions. Throughout the day, meetings were conducted in a professional and constructive atmosphere, allowing participants to exchange insights, present their offerings, and explore potential areas for future cooperation.
